City Participates in ASCN Meeting in Singapore

Jakarta Provincial Government, represented by Jakarta Smart City Management Unit, attended the Inaugural Asean Smart Cities Network (ASCN) Meeting in Singapore.

The main agenda is the finalization and adoption plan of ASCN framework and Smart City Action Plan (SCAP)

The meeting that ran last Sunday, discussed the joint program of smart city development among cities in ASEAN.

Jakarta Smart City Management Unit Head, Setiaji stated that it was a follow up of Asean Smart City Governance Workshop (ASCGW) that was held last May.

In that occasion, Indonesian delegation was attended by representatives of the Directorate General of Regional Autonomy as National Representatives of Indonesia accompanied by representatives of Foreign Ministry, Jakarta Smart City Officers Chairman, Banyuwangi District and Makassar City Government.

"The main agenda is the finalization and adoption plan of ASCN framework and Smart City Action Plan (SCAP)," he expressed, Monday (7/9).

The city brought the action plan initiatives and innovations of OK OCE and OK OTrip programs.

"The point is ASCN is to finalize the framework and action plan initiatives and innovations of each city in ASEAN for smart city development program together that will be inaugurated in the forthcoming September," he said.
